Touted to be a political thriller, Kodi is written and directed by RS Durai Senthilkumar and produced by critically acclaimed director Vetrimaaran under his banner Grass Root Film Company.
In the movie, Dhanush plays dual role– one is a powerful politician named Kodi and the other is an upright young man named Rishi. The film features actress Trisha Krishnan as Rudra and actress Anupama Parameswaran as Malathy.
Plot:
The story of Kodi revolves around a nuclear plant that is coming up near a village, which sets a ball of destruction rolling across the village and the lives of all those involved.
