The wait is over! Premam Telugu remake, also titled Premam, has hit the screens on Friday. In the movie directed by Chandoo Mondeti, Akkineni Naga Chaitanya and Shruti Hassan are going to play the lead roles in Telugu replacing Nivin Pauly and Sai Pallavi from the Malayalam blockbuster.
Under the direction of Chandoo Mondenti, Naga Chaitanya's Premam is produced by Suryadevara Nagavamsi from Sithara Entertainments.
The songs and trailer of Premam Telugu remake which was released recently haven't impressed the fans of the original. Both the trailer and lead actor Naga Chaitanya were heavily trolled by the social media.
Plot: The makers of the Telugu team have already stated that only the basic plot is taken from the original, while the remake version is narrated in a totally different way. Reportedly, the names of the characters and their backgrounds are different. Madonna Sebastian and Anupama Parameshwaran will be reprising their roles from the original in the Telugu version. Shruthi Haasan has replaced Sai Pallavi as the third leading lady of the movie. The movie is the coming-of-age love story of its protagonist spanning through over a decade at different stages in life.
