The wait for Suriya's much anticipated film Singam 3, aka Si3 has come to an end finally. In fact, it's been a long wait for Singam 3 as the makers had initially announced it as a Christmas release. However, various factors forced them to push forward the release dates.
Interestingly, the film had the premiere in US and Canada on Wednesday and is set for a grand release on Thursday in India. While the film will open in 500 plus screens in Tamil Nadu, its Telugu version Yamudu 3 is set to release on a whopping 850 plus screens in Telugu states of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
Suriya has a huge fan base in Kerala and hence, the release of Singam 3 is going to be a very special one in the state. Also, it’s the first time his fan club is releasing a movie across the Kerala.

'Singam 3' aka Si3 will be bigger and better, says director Hari
The All Kerala Singam Suriya Fans and Welfare Association (AKSSFWA) owns the film’s distribution rights in collaboration with Sopanam Entertainment. The fan shows have already begun from 8 am at various parts of Kerala.
Plot: Durai Singam (Suriya), a fierce honest cop has been promoted as Commissioner (Crime Branch). He is all set to head to Andhra Pradesh to investigate the murder of former Commissioner of Vizag. The course of investigation leads Durai Singam to international mission where me meets up with the villain. Why was the Commissioner murdered and how he handles the case forms the crux of Singam 3.

Racy screenplay in a typical Suriya style is the best part of the movie. Anushka and Shruti Haasan just make few appearances but barely manage to make an impact. Keeping away the logical part, Si3 is a power packed action entertainer.
