Palak paratha

'Palak' or spinach which is rich in protein and iron is used in a variety of curries and dishes. If you are game to try something unique and delicious made with palak, go for this special palak paratha.

Ingredients
Small bunch of palak
2 cups wheat flour
3 tbsp oil
½ tsp cumin
1 tsp ginger paste
½ tsp chilli paste
Salt as required
Oil as required

Preparation
Wash the palak and drain it well
Grind the palak in a mixer jar and squeeze its juice. Pass this juice through a strainer
Add the palak juice into a bowl with wheat flour, oil, cumin, ginger paste, chilli paste and salt as required
Mix it into soft dough
Keep it aside for at least half an hour
Make 10-12 balls from the dough and roll it by sprinkling some wheat flour
Rub some oil on the rolled dough, fold it in half and rub some more oil
Now, fold it again into a triangular shape
Rub some oil on a hot tawa and cook the paratha until it is cooked well on both sides
Palak paratha tastes amazing when served hot.
