Thiruvananthapuram: Two teachers have been suspended in an action taken by the Kerala education department during its probe into the alleged leak of SSLC mathematics question paper.
The teachers in question - K.G. Vasu and Sujith Kumar - have also been relieved of their evaluation duties.
The SSLC maths exam was quashed after it was found that many questions were lifted from a model question paper prepared by a private institute in Malappuram.
Following complaints from students and teachers, the education department ordered a re-examination, which is scheduled for March 30.

Meanwhile, in yet another incident of alleged mismanagement of public school examinations, it emerged that several questions of Plus One geography exam were replicated from a model question paper.

Of the total 60 marks, questions for 43 marks were allegedly copied from the model examination held in Thiruvananthapuram and Kollam districts.
The public exam was held on March 21. The question paper for the model exam was prepared by CPM-backed Kerala School Teachers Association.
