Sabarinadhan, MLA, on Friday tied the knot with Thiruvananthapuram subcollector Divya S. Iyer at Kumaraswamy temple at Thakala near here. Friends and families of both witnessed the traditional wedding.
After the wedding, the multi-talented bride, draped in a traditional red silk sari, rendered a keerthanam even as her husband was seen praying before the deity.
A reception will be held from 5.00 pm Friday at Girideepam Convention center at Nalanchira in Thiruvananthapuram. On July 2, another reception will be held at VK Auditorium in Aryanad.
It was in the first week of May that the Aruvikkara MLA announced on Facebook that Divya would soon become his life partner.

Sabarinadhan, son of late Congress leader and former assembly speaker G. Karthikeyan, is an engineering graduate and MBA degree holder, and Divya, a medical doctor.
