Kochi: Train services will be regulated from Thursday afternoon until August 12 for repair work at Angamaly station yard. Renovation between Kannur and Kozhikode route is also one more reason for the delay. Railway authorities said trains between Ernakulam and Thrissur could be delayed for 15 minutes to three hours during these days. Those appearing for exams and other urgent tasks are advised to start their journey well in advance if they are taking the rail route.
Ernakulam-Palakkad Memu, Ernakulam-Guruvayoor Passenger (56370/375) and Guruvayoor-Thrissur Passenger (56373/374) have been canceled for these days. Nizamuddin-Ernakulam Mangala Express will end its journey at Thrissur on Auguust 4, 6 and 7. Kannur-Alappuzha Express will not proceed beyond Chalakudy.
Thiruvananthapuram-Shoranur Venad Express will end its journey in Ernakulam on August12. On the same date, Kannur-Ernakulam Inter City Express will not go beyond Chalakudy.
The departure of Ernakulam-Nilambur Passenger will be delayed by 20 minutes on the same day.
Ernakulam-Pune Express will depart an hour late at 6.15 am on August 8.
A special stop will be allowed for reserved passengers on Alappuzha-Kannur Express at Chalakudy.
