Aluva: A day after some of his colleagues in the Malayalam film industry visited actor Dileep, actor Jayaram also met him on Thiruvonam day at Aluva sub-jail. The actor, who is under remand at the jail as an accused in the actress assault case, was given an Onakkodi by Jayaram.
“ I gift an Onakkodi to Dileep every year. I didn't want to break the habit even though he is in jail,” said Jayaram.

Harisree Asokan, who had been with Dileep right from their days as mimicry artistes, Kalabhavan Shajohn, Suresh Krishna and director Renjith had met the actor at the sub-jail on the eve of Thiruvonam.
Shajohn was the first to arrive at around 10 am on Sunday. He was followed by Asokan and Kalabhavan George at around 11 am. Renjith and Suresh Krishna visited Dileep by 4 in the evening.
All of them talked with Dileep for nearly 10 minutes each. This is the first time that colleagues other than actor-director Nadir Shah have visited Dileep after he was arrested on July 10.
Nadir Shah had visited Dileep again Friday. Dileep's wife Kavya Madhavan and daughter Meenakshi paid their first visits to the actor in jail on Friday.
