Buck up: Kerala CM Pinarayi to review the performance of his ministers The CM has instructed all his ministers and the heads of various departments to take part in a special meeting that will be held every Monday and Tuesday from now.

Thiruvananthapuram: Almost a year-and-a-half after the LDF came to power, Kerala chief minister Pinarayi Vijayan is set to review the progress of his government and efficiency of his ministers regularly.

The CM has instructed all his ministers and the heads of various departments to take part in a special meeting that will be held every Monday and Tuesday from now. They have been asked to submit reports on their performance, which will be evaluated by Pinarayi.

The CM's review meeting comes amid allegations that the government's functioning was not up to the mark.

The progress of four Kerala missions - Ardram, public education project, Life and Haritha Keralam - will also be scrutinized. Along with pointing out the faults and lapses from the part of the ministers and their departments, the CM will also make suggestions for improvement. The CM's office has also instructed every department to come up with three mega projects.

Chief secretary will be part of the meeting that will also look into the problems of projects, including GAIL pipeline and Kannur airport.
