Thiruvananthapuram: The state government on Friday appointed additional director-general of police Mohammed Yasin as director, Vigilance and Anti-Corruption Bureau (VACB).
Yasin will fill the vacancy created due to N C Asthana being moved to central service.
Shaik Darvesh Sahib will take charge as the crime branch chief to replace Yasin.
