In robotics, artificial intelligence-driven robots are being given the appearance of humans. Now, in a first Saudi Arabia has granted citizenship to Sophia, a humanoid.
To classify as a humanoid, the robot needs:
Opposable anterior forelimb-appendages (means usable thumbs and fingers)
Visible spectrum-binocular vision (two eye-like functional devices)
It should be bipedal (Should walk on two legs)
Male humanoids are androids and females, gynoids
