A review meeting decided to stop local bodies, except Kochi Corporation, from taking bio-degradable waste to the Brahmapuram dump yard after April 30.
The court put the order on hold for eight weeks. However, it will continue to monitor the waste management issue plaguing Kochi.
The Corporation Secretary should scan all documents and the soft copies should be sent by Tuesday evening.
'It's high time the government and people come together and do something urgently to arrest the waste menace before things get out of hand.'
