Innova CrystaInnova Crysta, one of the best MPVs in India, received a makeover at the hands of automobile designer Dilip Chhabria. DC Design’s take on Innova, christened Lounge Ultimate, is a fusion of comfort and luxury.
The reworked Crysta comes with a two-seat layout that resembles a business class flight. Passengers can relax with spacious legroom on business-class seats, with foldable table and even a mini refrigerator in front of them.
The interior has been done with wooden finish with a combination of white leather and chrome. The car has also been given a fine infotainment system.
Reading lamps have been fitted on the ceiling, with a starlit finish along the lines of Rolls Royce. There is a partition between the driver’s seat and the passengers’ seat.
On the outside, grand bumpers give the Innova a brand new look. There are side boards and wheel arch cladding. DC has brandished its logo on the grill.
Innova Crysta comes with a 2.8 liter diesel engine with six speed automatic transition or a 2.4 liter diesel engine with five speed manual transmission. Apart from the usual safety features, the models sport seven airbags, vehicle stability control and hill start assist control.
Crysta was unveiled in the 13th Auto Expo. The MPV which was made entirely on a new platform is longer than its previous version by 180 millimeter, broader by 60 millimeter and higher by 45 millimeter.
