Noida girl, boy among CBSE class 10 & 12 students with perfect marks

New Delhi: A few students have reportedly scored full marks for the Central Board of Secondary Examination for classes 10 and 12.

Yuvakshi Vij of Amity International School, Noida, and Tanya Singh of Delhi Public School in Bulandshahr in Uttar Pradesh scored 500/500 marks for Class-12 Humanities stream. In class 10, Mayank Yadav of Amity International School, Noida, scored 100% marks.

It is not known so far if some other students too have scored full marks for all subjects.

This year, 33,432 students scored more than 95% marks and 13,4797 students got more than 90% marks in Class 12.

Around 67,743 Class-12 students will have to write the compartment examination to improve performance.

In Class 10, 64,908 students scored more than 95% marks and 2,36,993 students scored more than 90%. In all 1,07,689 students of Class 10 will have to appear for the compartment exam.

The compartment exams for both Class 12 and Class 10 will commence on August 23.

Class 12 exam in Feb
The CBSE public exam of the 2022-23 academic year for Class-12 would begin on 15 February, 2023. The two term exams that were introduced last year has been cancelled this time. Those who have chosen Maths (Basic) in CBSE Class 10 this year would be allowed to opt Maths in Class 11 too. The guidelines on these would be published later.

Merit certificate
Merit certificates would be given to 0.1% students who have scored highest marks for each subject. There are 2,870 students who had scored 100 marks for Maths in Class 12. Meanwhile, 875 students had scored full marks in Economics. 97 is the highest score nationally for Hindi.

In Class 10, 1,096 students scored full marks for Malayalam and 4,344 students scored 100 marks for English and 5,116 candidates got full marks for Social Sciences.

The mark sheet and the certificates would be provided together.

Thiruvananthapuram region ahead
New Delhi: Thiruvananthapuram region was ahead at the national level as per the results of CBSE class 10 and 12 exams that were announced on Friday.

Kerala topped the states with 99.87% success rate for class 10. Out of the 18,762 boys who wrote the exam in Kerala, 18,463 passed (98.41%), while 19,272 out of 19,421 girls passed (99.23%). Bengaluru region came second with 99.22% success rate for Class 10, followed by Chennai (98.97%) and Ajmer (98.14%) regions.

Meanwhile, Kerala came second for class 12 with 98.83% success rate. Andhra Pradesh that registered a 98.97% success rate came first in this category.Bengaluru (98.16%) and Chennai (97.79%) regions came at second and third spots.
