No one can replace Mohanlal as Bheema: Prabhas

Kochi: Responding to Kamal R Khan, aka KRK's, controversial remark on Mohanlal, Baahubali actor Prabhas has said that Mohanlal is one of the finest actors ever and is undoubtedly the exact person to play Bheema in the upcoming Rs.1,000-crore project Mahabharatha. Bollywood troller KRK had tweeted against Mohanlal's playing Bheema's character in the movie based on M.T. Vasudevan Nair's classic novel 'Randamoozham.'

“Mohanlal sir is one of the best actors world cinema has ever seen. No one can replace him in such an epic project based on a classic novel. I would be more than happy to play a role in the magnum movie coming up from Malayalam industry, if ever Mohanlal sir leaves me one,” said Prabhas, speaking to the media as part of the promotion of Baahubali 2, at Kochi.

“I have watched several movies of Mohanlal sir and I look up to him. He could never be replaced by me, or anyone else in the industry. Mohanlal is always perfect in whatever he does," he added. The actor also said that he is too weary for another sequel movie. “I'm still in Baahubali hangover and I am not committing any other sequence projects soon,” said Prabhas.

The Baahubali team met the press at hotel Crowne Plaza Kochi and released the audio CD of Baahubali 2 in the presence of popular Mollywood filmmaker Fazil and art director of Baahubali 2 Sabu Cyril.
