Priyadarshan to remake 'Maheshinte Prathikaram'. Guess who the hero is?It is official, finally. Priyadarshan is all set to remake the hit movie 'Maheshinte Prathikaram' in Tamil. And it is going to the Udhayanidhi Stalin who will be essaying the role that Fahadh Faasil played in the original. Namitha Pramod has been roped in to be Jimsy.
Priyadarshan said that the movie will not stick to the original narrative and will be adapted to suit the audience.
Earlier, actor-producer Udhayanidhi Stalin said he will be teaming up with filmmaker Priyadarshan for his next yet-untitled Tamil project. "Happy to announce my next project with director Priyadarshan sir! Produced by Moonshot Entertainment Santosh sir," Udhayanidhi tweeted.
The project goes on the floors mid-July. Priyadarshan, meanwhile, is said to helm the Hindi remake of his own Malayalam blockbuster "Oppam".
