Raai Laxmi is making her Bollywood debut through the film 'Julie 2'Southern beauty Raai Laxmi is foraying into Bollywood with the erotic thriller Julie 2, in which she will be seen in an extremely raunchy avatar. The movie is already in the news for its bold content while the trailer and the songs are spreading exponentially for sultry portrayal of the lead actress. But Raai Laxmi confesses bold scenes were not very easy to execute.
Raai Laxmi revealed that she had to act in an extremely hot sequence in the movie and that she still feels disgusted when she recalls it. When scribes asked her about a scene where she felt was extremely bold while filming, she replied, “I don’t even know whether I should talk about it at all. I had to act in a scene in Julie 2 which was extreme even beyond my imagination. There is a scene where the character I play is forced to sleep with a person whom she despises. That scene and the way it was shot were cringe worthy; and the whole atmosphere on the sets made me uncomfortable. I still feel disgusted when I think about the scene. But the director has managed to film it very beautifully.”
Julie 2 directed by Deepak Shivdasani depicts the glamorous journey of a girl from humble backgrounds to super stardom in movies. It is a sequel to the Neha Dhupia-starrer Julie.
The music is composed by Viju Shah. The story and screenplay are prepared by the director himself. The movie has been shot in Dubai, Mumbai and Hyderabad.
