Jyothika has been the target of trolls and memes on social media after her infamous dialogue in the teaser of film 'Naachiyar'.Fiery dialogues, when mouthed by a hero may receive thunderous applause or even floral showers from the fans. The ‘heavy weight’ dialogues of Suresh Gopi in Commissioner and the verbal punches of Tamil superstars Rajnikanth or Vijay have always enthralled the audience.
But it seems one such attempt by the bubbly actress Jyothika has not gone down well with the Tamil audience. In the yet to be released Tamil film Naachiyaar directed by Bala, Jyothika plays the role of a tough cop. In the teaser which is out her character is seen as using cuss words.
Her fans in Tamil Nadu is obviously disappointed and says that their favorite star Jyothika is not like this and she shouldn’t have said those dialogues even if it is for a movie. Jyothika has since been a target of many trolls and memes on the social media as well. The actress has not yet responded to the latest controversy.
Naachiyaar is directed by Bala who has also scripted the movie and has Jyothika and GV Prakash in the lead roles. Jyothika will be seen in a different avatar in the movie unlike her popular bubbly image.
The music is composed by Ilayaraja. Rockline Venkatesh who is the producer of the super hit Mohanlal-starrer Villain has also acted in Nachiyar.
