Mollywood actor Anusree, who is playing the role of an autorickshaw driver in the forthcoming Sujith Vasudev directorial Ottarsha, has been hogging the headlines ever since the making of the film got underway.
What has been raising the curiosity of movie buffs of late has been an ordinary autorickshaw, which was transformed into a rolling vehicle rig to capture the scenes at a 360-degree angle.
This is for the first time that such an ultra-modern and innovative cinematographic technology is being used in an Indian cinema.
Since most of the scenes would be shot inside a moving autorickshaw, three or four cameras will be used to capture them.
A special arrangement has been made above the autorickshaw to accommodate the camera crew and their equipment. Chandrakant Madhavan is the designer of this unique camera rig.
Ottarsha portrays the everyday lives of a bunch of common people who are passengers in an auto. Apart from Anusree, who play the lead role, all the other characters in the movie will be essayed by new faces. ‘Marimayam’ fame Jayaraj Mitra has penned the screenplay of the movie.
