The actor who doesn’t shy away from experimenting roles and looks has stunned his fans with an amazing make up as a transgender.
The much awaited trailer of Njan Marykutty was launched on Sunday, that too in an extraordinary manner. Five eminent transgenders who have made a mark in various fields across the country will jointly launch the trailer of the movie which portrays the lives of trans-women.
Eminent makeup artist Renju Renjimar; Sara Sheikh, an IT professional; business woman Tripthi Shetty; Sheetal Syam who is a social activist and legal advisor Riya jointly launched the trailer on Sunday at 9 pm in Lulu Mall, Kochi.
Though many other movies have been made in Malayalam about the lives of transgender people, it would be for the first time that such a special and unique opportunity to launch the trailer of a movie is offered to them.
The character in Njan Marykutty is expected to be one of the most challenging roles in the career of actor Jayasurya.
Jewel Mary, Innocent and Aju Varghese too play pivotal roles in the movie. The costumes are designed by Saritha Jayasurya. Vishnu Narayanan cranks the camera for the movie.
Njan Marykutty is slated to hit the theaters on 15 June. The audience is eagerly awaiting the release of the movie as they have high expectation from the superhit actor-director duo Jayasurya and Ranjith Sankar after the block buster movie Punyalan Private Limited.
The popular duo has also made hit movies like Punyalan Agarbathis, Su…Su…Sudhi Vathmeekam and Pretham.
