Thalaivar fans are on cloud nine as their superstar's movie Kaala is being released worldwide. Although the movie is releasing on Thursday in the theatres here, the first review of the film is out on the internet after a UAE censor board member made it public.

UAE-based critic Umair Sandhu published the review of the movie on his personal blog and rated '4 stars' for it.

Heaping praises on Rajinikanth, Umair wrote, "Rajnikanth has never looked so good on screen with his stylised look and presentation, body language, and dialogue delivery. Pa. Ranjith has been able to get the right balance in a tightrope walk between Rajni’s larger-than-life image and the changing taste of today’s mass multiplex audience without losing his famous touch. In short, Pa. Ranjith has given us a more peppy and upmarket Rajni that is sure to work with today’s youth audience.”

Umair also hailed the movie Kaala as one of the best from Tamil cinemas.

Delving on the all-embracing brilliance of the movie, he said there was grandeur in every aspect of its making. The superbly choreographed action scenes, a riot of colours, and 'top-of-the-line'  techno-finesse was the 'best ever in Tamil,' he said.

Umair Sandhu said Rajnikanth was the undeniable hero of the film as always and the overpowering presence of his charisma was persuasive.

On the technical aspects, he said, Kaala is a revelation. He rote: "Background score is TERRIFIC ! Direction by Pa. Ranjith is Fantastic. Editing is Sharp! There is no dull moment throughout the film," he said.

Umair said the film would set the box offices ringing with such an 'earth-shattering opening.' It would cement the status of Rajnikanth as the darling of the masses.
