Ever since the release of Annayum Rasoolum, fans have been lapping up the magic of Rajeev Ravi's unconventional style of movie making. So on Friday, as his latest venture with youth icon Dulquer Salmaan, Kammatipaadam, hit the stands, the expectations riding on it are sky-high.

And this time, Ravi has chosen an action-packed film with Dulquer, playing the role of Krishnan.

Kammatipaadam also marks the Malayalam debut of actress Rasika Dugal, popular for her work in indie films such as Qissa and Kshay. It also features debutante Shaun Romy, Vinay Forrt, Vinayakan, P Balachandran and Shine Tom Chacko.

The movie will open in theatres on Friday at around 150 screens in Kerala itself, apart from major cities, including Chennai, Mumbai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Pune, Goa, and Bangalore.

As you wait for the review, our reviewer Arathi Kannan brings you a timeline from the theatre:

♣ The fan shows began at 8 am in many theatres across Kerala and long queues could be spotted everywhere.

♣ Interval

♣ Krishnan rewinds the events in his life - a violence from his past that still connects with his present
