Though it was the most painful day that ace music director Sharreth ruminated while remembering his lost love, the episode brought cheers to all present at the music reality show aired by Mazhavil Manorama channel.
The music composer candidly revealed the story at the super hit music based reality show Super 4 stirring every one, including his wife and daughter who were among the audience, into peels of laughter.
The incident emerged when Sayanth, one of the contestants sang the hit number ‘Mayamanchalil'.
While the judges praised young contestant on his amazing performance, veteran singer Sujatha turned emotional when she talked about the deceased singer Radhika Thilak who sang the super hit song from the movie Ottayal Pattalam.
It was then Sharreth shared an interesting episode from his life to cheer up Sujatha. Sharreth, the composer of the song and a judge at the show recalled a saying that the song has many painful memories associated with it.
“It was on the day I composed this song that I officially came to know that I lost my love. One of my friends called me up and said, ‘Just don’t expect anything. She gave birth to a baby’. I realized the truth only that late. But the fact is that both of us were saved. It was indeed a shock for me in the beginning. I had told my wife about it. Now they are really good friends,” said Sharreth with a smile.
