Kochi: Prizes of the prediction contest, jointly organized by Malayala Manorama and Dynora Television, in connection with the FIFA U-17 World Cup, were distributed at a function held at the Kochi Marriott Hotel here on Saturday.

The bumper prize of 10 sovereigns of gold was handed over to C M Salih, a native of Kudayathoor, near Thodupuzha, by Kerala Blasters’ captain Sandesh Jinghan.

Dynora TV director, Sunil Kumar Y Indraprastham, and senior assistant editor and director of Malayala Manorama, Riyad Mathew, were present on the occasion.

The winner of the bumper prize was selected through a raffle draw from among those who correctly predicted the outcome of the final of the FIFA U-17 World Cup held on October 28.

The winners of the SMS prediction contest held on fourteen match days were given away a 32-inch Dynora LED television set each.
