Kerala Blasters proved on Saturday that it is indeed important to give a chance to young players. The goal that 19-year-old Deependra Singh Negi scored against Delhi Dynamos proved that.

How much hard work Negi, fielded as a substitute, put in! I'm surprised why this young man wasn't given a chance so far.

Not only Negi, but all three substitutes that David James tried were brilliant. That changed the course of the game. It's not simple that Blasters could manage two goals and snatch victory after trailing by a goal.

Hume's winning penalty was also professional.

What is significant was that the forward, middle and defense lines performed with coordination. That showed the power of youth.

Every future match is a do-or-die battle for Blasters.
