Prominent Malayalam writer Paul Zacharia opined that Malayalis live a life which is devoid of peace as they 'live amidst anarchy created by political parties and caste-communal forces.'
Zacharia made this observation on the happiness and satisfaction of Malayalis in the backdrop of the upcoming Manorama News Conclave 2017 on Happiness.
According to the Kerala Sahitya Akademi Award winner, peace is of utmost importance in life, but Malayalis are pushed into chaos by political parties and caste, communal forces, and officials and politicians who practice corruption.
“All these forces have made Malayalis hard-hearted and lacking in love.”
“Malayali finds happiness in luxury. There is money, but everyday life does not go on as we want. The Malayali, innocent, victimized and helpless, does not have the capability to build up a new system,” Zacharia added. The political parties and caste, communal forces as also the media are responsible to bring about changes.
