Kochi: Union Minister of State for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME), Giriraj Singh, lauded the efforts made by the Startup Village. He said that the Startup has instilled confidence among youngsters to take up entrepreneurship and become job creators.
“What I learned from my quick survey of the incubator is that as the world is fast embracing the Startup culture, we Indians are also not far behind,” he said during his visit to the Startup Village.
He added, “Startup Village is not just a group of people churning out new ideas, but it is also an institution that gives a platform for young people to transform their ideas into reality.”
“Startup Village has created a great ecosystem focused on early stage startups. There is a huge scope for further growth if the constraints of infrastructure and funds are addressed,” Startup Village Chairman Sanjay Vijayakumar said. He also added that the authorities have brought this matter to the attention of both the Central and State governments.
