Jude Anthany Joseph (right) and Soumini JainKochi: A police case was lodged against Malayalam film-maker Jude Anthany Joseph for allegedly verbally abusing Kochi mayor Soumini Jain.
On Saturday, Jude had gone to the mayor's office to seek permission for the shoot of his latest film on atrocities against women and children at Subhash Park in Kochi. But the mayor said it needed the special permission of the corporation council.
Irked by this, Jude reportedly entered into an argument with her. He then stormed out of the office after telling her that he would go ahead with the shooting at Subhash Park.
