Alappuzha: In yet another foot-in-the mouth remark, independent legislator P.C. George on Monday unleashed a verbal attack on the Malayalam actress who was allegedly assaulted and abused in a moving car in Kochi in February.
Questioning the integrity of the actress, George asked how could she go to work the next day of the attack if she was brutally assaulted.
The Poonjar MLA, in a press meet here, said there was no evidence in the case relating to the attack.
"The claims of the police are unbelievable. What is happening now is atrocities against men," he said, apparently referring to the arrest of actor Dileep for allegedly plotting the attack.
On reports of the police move to quiz him in connection with the case, George said he would not go to the cops to give any evidence. "If the investigators come to me, I will inform them what I know," he said.
George has repeatedly been saying that Dileep was framed in the case.
He challenged the government to unearth illegal financial dealings by all leading actors.
