Case has been registered against Jean Paul Lal and Sreenath Bhasi for sexual abuseKochi: The anticipatory bail plea of Honey Bee 2 director Jean Paul Lal and three others; charged with sexual abuse charges, will be heard by the sessions court on Friday.
The young director along with actor Sreenath Bhasi and film technicians Anoop and Anirudh have been charged under IPC sections 354A (making sexually colored remarks) and 420 (cheating), based on the complaint from a young actress who was ousted from the cast of Honey Bee 2.
The woman had alleged that a body double was used in the shoot without her consent and she was not paid the promised remuneration. She has also raised allegations that smutty remarks were made against her while she met the crew in a hotel demanding her pay.
The Panangad police who were investigating the case had verified the claims checking a censor copy of the movie.
