Noted literary critic VC Harris passes away A popular face in the arena of literature, Dr Harris was part of many stage plays.

Kottayam: Noted literary critic and theater artiste V.C. Harris passed away on Monday. He was the director of the School of Letters at Mahatma Gandhi University here.

Dr Harris, 58, who was undergoing treatment at the Kottayam Medical College Hospital after suffering injuries in an accident, breathed his last at 11 am.

A popular face in the arena of literature, Dr Harris was part of many stage plays. He was also a well-known film critic.

He was born July 29, 1958 in Mayyazhi. He studied at SN College, Kannur, and Calitcut University. He had also worked as a lecturer in Farooq college.
