New Delhi: Seventeen colleges from Kerala made it to the top 100 colleges in the country.
The Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bengaluru, came out at the top overall in the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) released by Human Resource Development Ministry.
Miranda House in Delhi topped the list of best colleges. The colleges from Kerala that made it to the list are Thiruvananthapuram University College (18), St. Joseph's College in Kozhikode (34), Mar Ivanios College in Thiruvananthapuram (36), Sacred Heart College in Thevara (41),Rajagiri College of Social Sciences (43),TKM college of Arts and Sciences (45), St Berchman's College Changanassery (46), Christ College in Thrissur (63), KG College in Pambady (69), St Theresa's in Ernakulam (76), Vimala College in Thrissur (77), St Thomas' in Thrissur (79), Marian College, Kuttikanam (84), Nirmalagiri College in Kannur (87), MG College, Thiruvananthapuram (88), Bishop Moore College in Mavelikara (92) and St. Joseph's College in Thrissur (97)
Kerala University (30), Mahatma Gandhi University (34) and CUSAT (69) also made it to the list of best 100 universities
Among the 50 best management institutions, IIM-Kozhikode is on the sixth spot. IIST Thiruvananthapuram (23), NIT, Kozhikode (50) and Thiruvananthapuram Engineering College (75) found a place on the list of100 best engineering colleges.

Thiruvananthapuram University College came on the 18th spot in the ranking.
