Pathanamthitta: Mizoram governor Kummanam Rajasekharan paid obeisance at the Parthasarathy Temple at Aranmula on Saturday.
The former chief of Kerala BJP weighed himself against jaggery and plantain at the temple as is done while holding the popular thulabharam ritual.
BJP leader B Radhakrishna Menon and others received the dignitary at the temple.
Later, Kummanam met Rev Dr Philipose Mar Chrysostom, the senior Metropolitan of the Mar Thoma Church, at Maramon. Both held talks for 30 minutes. The governor handed over a shawl used by Mizo tribals to the Metropolitan.
