New Delhi: The re-examination of Central Board of Secondary Education's Class XII economics paper will be held on April 25, while the re-test for Class X mathematics is likely to be conducted in July, Education Secretary Anil Swarup said Friday.
He said a preliminary enquiry has revealed that the leak for Class X mathematics paper was restricted to Delhi and Haryana.
The re-examination for class X, if it appears to necessary, will be announced within 15 days, it was announced.
There has been no leak outside India, hence no re-examination will be held outside the country, he said referring to the NRI students who follow the syllabus.
The question papers are different for students appearing for the CBSE examinations outside India.
CBSE has already announced re-exam of Class X mathematics and XII economics papers after the alleged paper leak.
Police investigation is on to the alleged leak of the question paper that was flagged before the examination was actually conducted.
