Wednesday night's clash between Quetta Gladiators and Lahore Qalandars witnessed a rather bizarre incident as pacer Sohail Khan, who after failing in his efforts to get the attention of Yasir Shah on the boundary, threw the ball in his direction. Leg-spinner Yasir was left fuming and threw the ball back at Sohail. Finally, captain Brendon McCullum intervened and calmed down the two.
Quetta Gladiators batsman and former English star Kevin Pietersen described it as the 'funniest moment' of his cricket career.
It all ended well for both Sohail and Yair as Lahore beat Quetta by 17 runs.
