Reports suggest that the CPI(M) has offered Sarin a seat in Palakkad.
The Youth Congress leader has been declared as UDF candidate for Palakkad Assembly byelection.
The EC has scheduled the bypoll for November 13, but the BJP wants it moved to November 20.
