'Hortus', the art and literature festival organized by Malayala Manorama in Kozhikode, has been designed to be a melting pot of various facets of culture, ideas, debates, insightful exhibitions and much more.
He said Malayalis worldwide can rejoice through such programmes and move forward with greater unity.
The Meitra Hospital is bringing the pavilion to Kozhikode, which will serve as a vibrant platform for the native artists of Malabar.
Around 400 guests from within the country and abroad will be participating in the three-day events.
Eminent writer M Mukundan inaugurated the fair.
The event will host an array of discussions, with debate sessions kicking off on November 1.
The Aksharaprayanam will travel through selected literary and cultural centers, educational institutions, and libraries in all districts of Kerala.
Santhosh Echikkanam began his speech by mentioning that he belongs to the generation that decided to earn a living through writing.
The interaction between Sanjay and Salini were based on the latter’s debut novel ‘Poochakkuru’, published by Manorama Books.
The writers spoke at the event that was held as a prelude to ‘Hortus’ international literary and cultural festival to be organised by Malayala Manorama at Kozhikode beach from November 1 to 3.
