The state committee member has disowned CPM's rogue activists of Thillankeri -- accused in the Shuhaib murder -- telling them their path is different to that of the party.
The CPM activist is a close friend of Shuhaib murder-accused Akash Thillankeri.
The CPM leadership in Kerala wants former Kannur party district secretary P Jayarajan himself to take the lead and denounce the renegade as he held this post when Youth Congress activist Shuhaib was done away by political foes.
CPM State Secretary M V Govindan, earlier today, clarified that no probe would be initiated by the party against Jayarajan to check the allegations of financial impropriety against him.
P Jayarajan, who raised the allegation at the last state committee, will also face enquiry.
The Kannur-based advocate said DySP Sukumaran contacted him unofficially for legal advice regarding Ariyil Shukoor case, in which P Jayarajan is an accused.
Jayarajan's allegations against EP related to Vaidekam Ayurveda Healing Village, a resort in Kannur's Morazha village and in which EP's son and wife are partners.
He further said the politburo will not discuss the matter.
EP Jayarajan has reportedly made up his mind to stay on and launch a counter-attack by raising allegations, including misappropriation of funds, against P Jayarajan.
EP’s wife and son are directors of the Ayurveda resort in Kannur. The allegations were raised in the CPM state committee.
