Gold smuggling case accused Swapna Suresh had claimed that M Sivasankar, co-accused in the case, had introduced Shaj Kiran to her by saying that he was associated with the Believers Church.
Kodiyeri said that he has no acquaintance with Shaj Kiran. He further said that he never met Swapna Suresh.
Shaj said in his conversation that the CM and Kodiyeri were engaged in sending money to the US in an illicit manner and they were using Believers' Church as a cover for running these operations.
Swapna had claimed that M R Ajith Kumar talked to her friend Shaj Kiran.
Kodiyeri Balakrishnan has alleged the opposition wants to create political unrest in Kerala.
Swapna had complained that her life was under threat after the recent allegations levelled by her against the Chief Minister, his family and others.
The Opposition is unlikely to offer any solace to the ruling front, despite its leaders clarifying that they would not be parroting all the allegations that Swapna has been making.
Though Swapna's revelations, so far, are mostly incredible and logic defying, the CPM and the government are not discarding her statements completely.
The question is how could it be possible to register a case by the police on the charge of attempting to create riots, merely on the basis of the secret statement given to the court and the public statement made later by Swpna Suresh.
Swapna had alleged that Shaj made 56 WhatsApp calls to ADGPs MR Ajith Kumar and Sakhare.
