A year ago, Prithviraj made a big ticket announcement that he is going to direct superstar Mohanlal and the fans of both actors went hammer and tongs at each other. But later, there were rumors that the movie, scripted by actor Murali Gopi, has been shelved.
Putting an end to all rumors, Mohanlal, Prithvi, Gopi and producer Antony Perumbaavoor came together in a Facebook live video on Sunday to talk about their joint venture – Lucifer.
In the video, Perumbavoor revealed that the movie will go on floors in May 2018, and will be made under the banner of Aashirwad Cinemas.
Mohanlal who spoke next said that the project was delayed because of the their other commitments. The megastar added that he knew of Prithvi's interest in direction and was glad that he chose him for his debut directorial.
It was Prithvi’s turn to speak next and he said that it was their first proper meeting after the announcement of the movie.
Later, Gopi said that they are trying to make a film, which will appeal to both Mohanlal fans and movie buffs.
