A rare picture of veteran Bollywood actress Jaya Bachchan was shared by her son and actor Abhishek Bachchan on her 69th birthday.
Abhishek posted this vintage picture of his mother on his Instagram page on Sunday. The actor wrote, "Happy birthday Ma. No matter what one writes, it’ll never be enough to be able to express what you mean to me. I Love you!"
Though it was not mentioned when exactly this photo was clicked, it could belong to an era when Jaya was making her way to stardom.
Jaya, who made her debut in Bollywood as a child artist, first acted as a heroine in Hrishikesh Mukherjee's Guddi (1971). She then went on to star in several blockbusters, some of which were with her husband Amitabh Bachchan - Abhimaan (1973), Mili (1975) and Sholay (1975).
