This one question and its myriad speculative answers have been taking Indian public spheres and social media by storm ever since the first installment of Rajamouli's magnum opus movie Baahubali was released. Now that its sequel is about to release on April 28, cinema lovers across the nation are impatiently waiting to get that one question answered. Well, this one riddle ruled the scenario when team Baahubali came down to Kochi for the promotion of Baahubali 2. Finally Prabhas, the protagonist actor of the epic sequel, has answered the conundrum.
“Imagine Kattappa stabbing his enemy from the back. What if he mistook Baahubali as Balladeva and stabbed him from behind? Or why wouldn't he have a solid reason to stab Baahubali?” Prabhas asked the audience. “Anyway let this question keep its suspense at least until the movie releases,” he laughed.

Prabhas expressed his concern regarding the leak of movie's suspense after first day, first show. “Netizens wouldn't hesitate to spread the word once the answer is out. I have a serious concern regarding that. Social media has so far been very supportive of Baahubali right from the time of its ideation. I wish they continue to extend the same support and keep the exclusiveness of movie within theaters,” Prabhas said.
The crew said that the movie is laced with a lot more interesting elements other than the answer for the mysterious question. So even if the answer for this question leaks out after the first show, the other elements would keep attracting movie lovers to theaters, they hope.
“We sincerely wish the reviewers do not give away spoilers and break the suspense. Baahubali 2 is not all about the Kattappa-Baahubali riddle. It is indeed a visual retreat to be enjoyed in theaters, with all those big VFX and sound effects,” Prabhas said.
