Although it has been some time since the shoot of Bhagmati was wrapped up, the actor hasn’t stopped talking about Anushka, who was his co-star in the movie.
In a recent interview, he said: “Anushka taught me how to handle stardom. Even though she's at the peak of her career now, Anushka is so humble, simple and powerful. (laughs).”
According to Mukundan, Anushka is an extremely beautiful woman to look at. "She has got that ultimate lady-like attitude. In fact, she gave me lessons on how to handle popularity," he said.
The actor said that through Bhagmati, Tollywood gave him something that Mollywood couldn't offer him yet – a brilliant character. “A hero who empathizes with the problems of the public, the character called Shakthi is a real super hero,” he told Onmanorama.
"There’s a vast different between Malayalam and Telugu film industries, mainly owing to the differences in budget. But I don't regard one industry superior to the other just because I get better pay in Tollywood. All my cinemas are equally dear to me," he said.
