Actor Fahadh Faasil has asked his fans not to compare his latest movie 'Thondimuthalum Driksakshiyum' with 'Maheshinte Prathikaram' and said that the former was an entirely different movie though from the same director.
Responding to questions on his upcoming movie 'Trans,' Fahadh said any early description would spoil the freshness of the movie. “Trans would be released in April 2018. It has a theme of such an exclusive nature. It is too early to open up on any single detail of that movie,” he said and wished all the very best to the team remaking 'Maheshinte Prathikaram' in Tamil.
Sharing his experience of acting in Role Models, Fahadh said everyone would have a student like Gautam in their memories. “Gautam will seem a next-door boy for any of you. I had a classmate called Sreekant whose parents worked as teachers in the same school. Such students are loaded with unwanted pressure on them, regarding their performance in studies, sports and extra curricular activities. Same is the story of Gautam. Gautam retaliates to this pressure. Role Models is actually the story of Gautam's father trying to fix his son's problems,” Fahadh said.
Fahadh said his wife was his best critique. “Nazriya makes genuine comments on my movies. She keeps it clear if she does not like any of my movies. But if she likes it, she wouldn't hesitate to appreciate it," he said.
On the rumors that surfaced on social media regarding her pregnancy, he said, “I choose to ignore the rumors surfacing on social media platforms regarding our personal matters. If Nazriya responded to any of them, she would have found it worth responding. I haven't felt it so far,” he told Onmanorama. Commenting on his criteria of character selection, the actor said that there wasn't any genre he was particularly interested in. “The so-called 'Fahadh's favorite type' of characters is a myth," he said adding that a promising movie from him was exclusively the skill of his director.
