Mammootty-starrer Masterpiece, scripted by Udaykrishna after all time highest grosser, Pulimurugan, will hit the screens during Christmas.
The film, directed by Ajay Vasudev after Rajadhiraja, is made on a budget of Rs 15 crore. The film is produced by C. H. Muhammed under the banner Royal Cinemas.
In Masterpiece, Mammotty is essaying the role of Edward Livingstone, a college lecturer who arrives to tame a bunch of pranksters in the college.
Mukesh, Unni Mukundan, Gokul Suresh Gopi, Maqbool Salman, Kalabhavan Shajon, Santhosh Pandit, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar and Poonam Bajwa appear in prominent roles in the film.
Deepak Dev has composed the music for the songs penned by Rafeeq Ahmed, B.K. Harinarayanan and Santhosh Varma.
While Vinod Illampally has wielded the camera, editing is carried out by Johnkutty.
