Sweta's husband, Ashwin Shashi; her father Dr. Mohan; and mother Sujatha were present at Prasanthi Hospital on Harrington Road, Chennai where a Cesarean was performed on the singer.
The baby was born at 12.16 am on Friday. Sweta's parents said both the baby and the mother were doing well.
