Sharing his happiness over the success of Ira which he produced, Vysakh told Onmanorama that he would be directing two movies in 2018 with mega star Mammootty and youth icon Nivin Pauly in the lead roles respectively.Director Vysakh is currently one of the most sought-after film-makers in Malayalam movie industry. The hit-maker who still basks in the glory of the block buster Mohanlal starrer Pulimurugan - the first ever Malayalam movie to enter the 100-crore club, is all set to entertain his audience in 2018 with two mega creations.
Sharing his happiness over the success of Ira which he produced, Vysakh told Onmanorama that he would be directing two movies in 2018 with mega star Mammootty and youth icon Nivin Pauly in the lead roles respectively. He said that Raja 2, starring Mammootty, would go on the floors in July.
Raja 2, bankrolled by Nelson Ipe for the banner of Nelson Ipe Productions is penned by Uday Krishna. The film maker told that Raja 2 would be a mass entertainer like its prequel.
Meanwhile, the filming of Vysakhs’s movie starring young super star Nivin Pauly will begin by September 2018 after wrapping up the first schedule of the Mammootty-starrer. Vysakh said that he has high hopes for his first project with Nivin, which will be a campus movie.
“It will be for the first time that a super star from the younger lot will be doing a thorough mass movie. The movie will be a total family entertainer with the right doses of humor, action and romance.” Screen writer Uday Krishna will be writing the screenplay of this movie as well. The Nivin Pauly starrer will be produced by Vysakh Rajan under the banner of Vysakha Movies.
Once the filming of Vysakhs’s movie with Nivin is completed, he will begin the final schedule of Raja 2. Vysakh told that the screenplays of both the movies are completed. He added that he would soon announce two ‘surprise’ projects as well. Anyways, fans of Mammootty and Nivini Pauly are thrilled that their favorite stars would be starring in movies directed by the hit-maker Vysakh.
