Mollywood heartthrob Dulquer Salmaan, who is basking in the glory of the incredible success of his latest bi-lingual Mahanati, thrilled the Malayali audience at the recently held Amma Mazhavillu mega stage show.
The actor was seen in a skit which recurred throughout the show, besides delivering two amazing dance performances. But it seems the young superstar went through severe physical pain to entertain his fans. Abhijit Nair, mega star Mamootty’s personal costume designer, revealed through his social media page that Dulquer had performed on stage with a fractured leg. “He would wear Alauddin’s costume and rest at the green room with an ice pack on his leg. The next moment he would change the costume and go onto the stage for the dance performances. It was really scary for us who watched him do that,” wrote Abhijit.
Dulquer suffered a leg injury while rehearsing for the dance performances. But the dedicated artiste in him was not ready to back out of the already committed programmes, and cheerfully took part in the stage show without showing even the slightest discomfort.
The Solo actor’s dedication is being lauded by his fans on the social media.
It was for the first time that Dulquer had performed at a stage show. The crowd was overwhelmed to see their favourite actor perform on stage, and he too received the same amount of cheers from the audience as screen idols Mohanlal and Mammootty did.
