‘Johny Johny Yes Papa’ written by Joji Thomas will be directed by MarthandanBiju Menon-starrer 'Vellimoonga' struck gold at the box office in 2014 with its genuine humour and amazing performance by its star cast. Though the political satire was a debut venture of director Jibu Jacob and screen writer Joji Thomas, the movie was well appreciated by the audience and the critics alike. When Jibu returned with the superhit Mohanlal flick 'Muntirivallikal Thalikkumbol', Joji took a hiatus from films.
When asked about this, the screen writer admitted that he was offered many opportunities after his successful debut and that he was all set to make a comeback with ‘Johny Johny Yes Papa’ starring Kunckacko Boban. Joji added that besides a good director and screen writer, it takes the collective effort of an entire crew to make an amazing movie.
“I wanted my next movie to be with an excellent crew. The filming of my next project begins in the first week of June. I have written the script of ‘Johny Johny Yes Papa’ which will be directed by Marthandan after the superhit movie 'Paavada'," Joji revealed.
The entertainer, which has Kunchacko Boban in the lead, will be shot at various locations around Kottayam.
Discussions are also underway for a movie with director Vysakh. Vysakh and I belong to the same place. So I believe that our movie will have a local flavour which could be enjoyed by everyone,” says Joji.
