Tovino with wife Lidiya (R)Tovino Thomas-starrer Abhiyum Anuvum has hit the screens with mixed reviews.
The film had earlier made headlines for an intense lip-lock scene featuring the lead pair Tovino and Pia. His last outing Maayanadhi also had him doing intense kissing scenes on screen.

Now, the actor talking to Radio Mango opens about doing intimate scenes. He says, “I act as the script demands it. I think lip-locks are never the criteria for doing a film, the sole criteria is the script and I don't want to hamper a movie.”
Ask him how his wife takes it, he laughs and replies, “She should be proud right. I learnt to love from her. When I was in love with her, only then I realised what that term actually meant. That credit definitely goes to her. Love is not what we see in movies.”
Tovino got married to his long-time girlfriend Lidiya on October 25, 2014. The couple was blessed with baby girl Izza on January 11, 2016, and Tovino had called her birth as the greatest day of his life.
